Coffee, Community & Conversation: Bringing Meath Together for a Safer Future

Zero Tolerance Meath, a community-based initiative focused on preventing and addressing domestic, sexual and gender-based violence (DSGBV), is inviting local residents to a series of Coffee, Community & Conversation mornings taking place across Co. Meath this April. These informal gatherings provide an opportunity for people to come together, share ideas, and discuss how to build safer communities for everyone.
The events are part of the wider Zero Tolerance Meath programme,a three-year pilot funded by Cuan, the National Statutory Agency for DSGBV, and evaluated by Maynooth University. The project is currently active in Navan, Trim, Kells and Ashbourne.
Zero Tolerance Meath brings together local residents, services and organisations to deepen understanding of DSGBV, challenge the normalisation of abusive behaviours, promote gender equality and support positive social change across communities in Meath.
Alongside a programme of online learning modules and in-person working groups, the coffee mornings offer a more informal space for engagement. People can drop in, connect with others, and contribute to the conversation in a relaxed setting.
